The sixth production line expansion project of Alba awards $700 million export credit financing
Alba——The head office of the project announce they will use $700 million on the sixth production line expansion project .
These facilities are supported by ECA’s 3.15 hundred million euros and EulerHerms’ 50 million euros.
The facility supported by SERV is used to build PS5, the GE will provide three 9HA gas turbines, three steam turbines and three HRSG. These facilities have a 15-year period using and the principal will be repaid within 12 years. EulerHerms will fund the PDS. Siemens will participate in the formation of high voltage power grids and provide 220kV GIS, it has a 14-year deadline and the principal will be repaid within 12 years.
The president of Alba said: "This financing for PS5 and power distribution system shows the company's expansion of the sixth production line. We look forward to working with the Swiss, German government and general electric , and Siemens to expand the sixth production line.
JP Morgan Chase is the coordinator of ECA , it assist in coordinating the deployment of ECA, and disclose more information in due course.
The production line is expected to begin in 2019, the sixth production line expansion project can increase the annual output of 540,000 tons, the Alba total capacity will reach 1.5 million tons per year, becoming the world's largest single-point aluminum smelting equipment .


We have more than 670 sets of equipment including welding, cutting and machining, and a metallic structural factory with main products of auto anode jacking frames, anode jacking systems, ladles, point feeders, crust breakers, anode clamps, anode assembly (steel yoke, anode rod, Anode Clamp, clad welded together), a foundry factory for all kinds of casting items, and an explosion factory for bi-metal transition blocks.
